Our claims processes are critical to our business. We have an overall claims strategy that operates across all our business lines.

Tokio Marine HCC views its claims settlement process as the "shop window" to customers and a potential differentiator to competitors.  Our strategy for settling claims is geared to ensure customers are treated fairly and claims covered by the policy wording are processed and settled in a timely fashion.  If claims are rejected, clear rationale is given to ensure the customer understands why no coverage can be afforded and help is provided to customers, wherever possible, to allow them to best protect their position.

At Tokio Marine HCC we aim to employ experienced claims handling staff who are customer focused with appropriate authority to allow prompt assessment and settlement of claims.  Our claims processes enable an effective and efficient referral process to ensure larger claims are settled in the same time frame as smaller claims maintaining a consistent even handed quality assessment of all claims.
