PI Risk Presentation: An Underwriter’s Perspective

We recently hosted our first webinar of the year, led by Senior Underwriter, Louise Grima, and Underwriter, Alexandra Clarke from our Professional Risks team in London. The webinar titled ‘Risk Presentation: An Underwriter’s Perspective’ focused primarily on providing brokers with an Insurer’s top tips on how best to manage risk presentations, including some examples on how to easily avoid process delays.

As an industry, we have always thrived off the broker/underwriter relationship. Now more than ever, with the current challenging times and impact of working from home, it is vital that we maintain these key relationships and continue working together effectively.

Over the course of the short webinar, Alex explored broker to client relationships in detail, with particular attention being paid to who we’re looking to insure, what past cover is required, professional risks and what level of cover is needed. Louise also provided her key insights into broker to insurer relationships, highlighting the importance of time management, communication and more.
