We are pleased to announce that we have just added three new underwriters to our regional and London Professional Risks teams.
Joining our London office is James Stretton, an underwriter from QBE, who was previously responsible for QBE’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) Professional Indemnity (PI) portfolio, training the commercial PI underwriting team as well as wording development.
Nicola Lowe and Andrew Matthews will each join our Birmingham and Bristol offices respectively as development underwriters. Lowe arrives from Arthur J Gallagher where she was a commercial account handler; previously she worked at JLT and Brit Insurance; whilst Andrew Matthews spent four years at law firm Kennedys as a claims handler.
Regarding the triple hire, Tony Browne, Managing Director - Professional Risks at Tokio Marine HCC said:
“We are continuing to grow our Professional Risks team both here in London and across our regional offices. This is an important and successful part of the Tokio Marine HCC business and I expect this investment in three talented new colleagues to assist our growth strategy.
“I would like to welcome James, Nicola and Andrew to the fold and look forward to working with them.”
We’re confident these three new hires will make a great addition to our team, alongside our recently-hired Business Development Manager Ian McFadyean, who joined our regional sales team earlier this year in Bristol with the specific remit of growing our book of Professional Risk accounts within the SME sector.
