When it comes to assessing the quality of experience in a workplace, there is no better gauge than Investors in People (IIP), the international standards body for people management. Which is why we are delighted that our Bridgend office, one of the fastest growing in the Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI) empire, has secured Gold IIP status for the second consecutive time.

Our Bridgend office opened 18 years ago and has grown from an initial team of three in 2005 to more than 150 today. But while we have expanded, we have remained 100% focused on what delivers that growth – our people – and IIP have recognised that by awarding the Bridgend office Gold Investors in People status.

Gold status is awarded to fewer than 10% of IIP-accredited businesses so to secure that recognition for a further three years pays huge tribute to the effort the Bridgend team have made to make TMHCCI one of the best places to work in Wales. In fact, having been ranked as a Top 5 employer in the Welsh finance and insurance sector in 2020, our Bridgend office is now in the Top 3.
