International Credit and Political Risk

Our insurance provides protection against financial losses and physical damage arising out of credit and political risks. We protect overseas investors, commodity traders, banks and financial institutions, contractors and exporters in circumstances such as political and economic instability, government intervention, insolvencies and defaults, or social and political discontent in emerging countries.


Credit & Surety

Surety and Bonds

We provide a broad choice of contract bonds - performance, advance payment, retention monies - and commercial bonds - custom, environmental, pension, travel - which are customised to our clients’ needs. We also partner with banks through bank participation agreement.

Trade Credit

We offer credit insurance which provides coverage to companies of all sizes and across all trade sectors against non-payment, or serious payment delays of debts owed to them by business customers for goods or services provided on credit terms. Our range of policies includes whole turnover, principal buyers, single risk and excess of loss, and provides protection against insolvency and protracted default.

We protect personal assets and liabilities of directors, officers and senior management against potential claims arising from the actions or decisions made in their capacity as leaders and decision makers.

Financial Institutions Bond and Commercial Crime

We customise insurance programmes that cover financial institutions and commercial businesses against crime-related losses resulting from fraudulent or criminal activities committed by dishonest employees and/or third parties.

Professional Indemnity Liability

We offer protection to independent consultants and businesses, and their management and employees against acts, errors or omissions when providing a service to their clients. We write a range of professions, from accountants to engineers and lawyers.

Employment Practices Liability

Our insurance covers a company and its management and employees’ losses, defence costs and indemnities, resulting from claims brought by a company’s past, present and prospective employees alleging unjust employment practices such as wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment or retaliation.

Fiduciary Liability insurance

We underwrite risks that relate to trustees, employee benefit plans and sponsor companies, from claims made against them for breach of fiduciary duties imposed by local statutes and any act, error or omission made in the administration of any sponsored employee benefit plan.

Transaction Risk Insurance / Warranty & Indemnity

Our insurance programmes cover the liabilities arising from financial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), management buy-outs and securitisations. We provide risk transfer solutions to the parties involved and this includes both buyer and seller-side, warranty and indemnity insurance (W&I).

Kidnap & Ransom

Our cover helps companies and families with the financial and emotional burden of kidnap, ransom, extortion and detention, and above all else, to ensure the victims’ safety.


Our comprehensive cyber liability product offers cover to companies on a broad range of risks including first party protection - loss of digital assets, non-physical business interruption and extra expense, cyber extortion, cyber terrorism, crisis management and notification costs; and third party protection - network security and privacy liability, communications and media liability, transmission of virus and denial of service.

We underwrite a specialised portfolio of core accident and health sub-classes, varying from simplistic short-term accidental death policies, to tailored reinsurance coverages affording balance sheet protection to insurers whose portfolios have exposure to catastrophic events such as tsunami, earthquake, aviation air crash and war.

Our products provide physical, property and business interruption coverage on a subscription basis to commercial organisations in sectors such as manufacturing, retail and municipalities around the world.


We underwrite a broad range of energy risks, covering the complex requirements of sophisticated clients in the energy supply chain, from upstream exploration and production through midstream storage in transmission, to downstream refining and petrochemical activities.

Treaty Reinsurance

Professional Risks


Designed specifically for SME businesses, our cyber product provides wide ranging protection, from data breaches to hacker damage and telephone phreaking. Coverage is for both first and third party liability.


Through both regional and Lloyd’s brokers, we are specialists in standalone employment liability (EL), public liability (PL) and contractors all risks (CAR) insurance including excess EL and PL. We write a wide range of sectors from cladding and heating and ventilation contractors to quarries and sawmills.

Management Liability

Our policy is ideally suited to the SME market and includes protection for directors and senior employees (D&O’s); corporate liability for the protection of the company itself and corporate employment liability insurance - protecting the company from past, present and prospective employees.

Professional Indemnity

We provide professional indemnity solutions to brokers for their clients in an extensive range of professions, from the traditional accounting and engineering to the more modern media and IT, against potential claims arising from faulty work carried out or advice given whilst providing a service to clients.

Specialty Group


Our specialty products focus on contingency and niche disability business in the sports, entertainment and promotional industries for risks including non-appearance, event cancellation, television and film production, prize indemnity and promotional activity.

Weather Analytics

We provide worldwide insurance cover in industry sectors from agriculture and construction; through to energy, entertainment, sport and tourism against defined weather perils for a predetermined period and location. Our products cover event weather, film and commercial production, cost containment, income stabilisation, and promotional weather insurance.

Medical Insurance Services

Offering coverage to customers in more than 130 countries, our policies are effective protection in the event of a health emergency, whether for immediate treatment at a destination, medical evacuation, covering trip interruptions, travel delays, and/or lost luggage.
