ENCINO, California (April 17, 2023) Tokio Marine HCC - Cyber & Professional Lines Group (CPLG), a member of the Tokio Marine HCC group of companies based in Houston, Texas, promotes three executive leaders:

Sun Choi named Senior Vice President, Product Management & Engineering

Christopher Murphy named Senior Vice President, Employment Practices
Liability & Healthcare Professional Insurance

Jade Rabacal named Vice President, Business Development

The new appointments position the company for long-term growth, reinforcing Tokio Marine HCC – Cyber & Professional Lines Group’s (CPLG) unparalleled commitment to risk management, cutting-edge technology, new business growth and creative product development in all lines of business.

Sun Choi, formerly Vice President, Product Management and Engineering, takes the helm as Senior Vice President, Product Management & Engineering. Choi brings a history of technology leadership and expertise to his new focus on the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions for CPLG. His longstanding efforts in emerging tech have helped catapult CPLG in the industry. Choi is a critical component in the company’s commitment to creating customer-focused systems and solutions, and plays a pivotal role in improving the customer’s journey.

Christopher Murphy, formerly Senior Vice President, Employment Practices, will draw on his two decades of company knowledge to bring strong and consistent leadership to his growing team under his new role as Senior Vice President, Employment Practices Liability & Healthcare Professional Insurance. In the past seven years, Murphy led his department to record profits through his strong underwriting abilities. Murphy brings deep experience with organizational skills, consistent messaging and sustainable broker engagement to his new role within the company’s healthcare segment.

Jade Rabacal, is now Vice President, Business Development. Rabacal grew the Employment Practices Liability book to new heights over the past 12 years as she consistently brought in new leads and developed profitable business. Her broker and production underwriting experience make her well-positioned to reimagine the company’s distribution model. In her new role, Rabacal will expand and lead new business growth while strengthening existing broker relationships for all lines of business.

The appointments of Choi, Murphy and Rabacal to their new roles are effective as of April 1.
