Dagdelen succeeds Xavier Marguinaud, who helped develop TMHCCI's Cyber offering from a single line within Financial Lines into a dedicated international practice over the last decade.
Dagdelen joined the company in 2013 as a Financial Lines Underwriter and moved into Cyber in 2019. With her career in insurance developing alongside the evolution of Cyber as a specialist line of business, Dagdelen is well placed to guide the team through an increasingly complex cyber risk landscape, drawing on almost two decades of technical and commercial underwriting expertise.
TMHCCI’s Cyber team has grown steadily alongside the increased demand for cyber insurance, reaching a current team size of 22 specialists, including a dedicated Cyber Security team. Dagdelen’s appointment marks the next chapter for a team that has built a strong reputation for disciplined underwriting, consistency, and long-term broker and client relationships.
Thibaud Hervy, Chief Executive Officer – TMHCCI, said: “Gülsah has been central to building our Cyber practice, and this appointment reflects both her expertise and the strength of the wider Cyber team. Her promotion underlines the continuity of our approach, the trust she has earned across the market, and the important role she will play in the continued growth of our international Cyber business.”
Gülsah Dagdelen, Head of Cyber – International, TMHCCI, said: “I'm proud of what we've built in Cyber and excited to lead the team into this next phase. As the cyber risk landscape becomes more complex, our focus remains on disciplined underwriting, close broker and client relationships, and helping businesses navigate emerging and evolving threats. I would like to thank the TMHCCI team for their continued trust and support, and I look forward to building on such strong foundations.”
Henk Bakker, Managing Director – Financial Lines, Cyber and Transaction Risk, TMHCCI, said: “The Cyber team has built a strong reputation across the market through its underwriting expertise, consistency and specialist approach. I am confident Gülsah is the right person to lead its next phase of growth. We also thank Xavier Marguinaud for his significant contribution to TMHCC and to the Cyber team over the past ten years. His expertise and leadership have been a key asset to the business, and we wish him continued success in his next role.”
