It’s nearly May, which means that thousands will soon start making their pilgrimage to Manchester for Europe’s largest insurance broking event. The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) Conference is expected to attract nearly 10,000 insurance professionals from across the country, and of course, Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI) will be among the more than 200 exhibitors.
This year’s theme, “A New Era”, encourages the market to reflect on a fairly tumultuous first quarter of the 21st century and look forward to what lies ahead in the next 25 years. That kind of forward planning, founded on past experience, is precisely how TMHCCI operates. The BIBA conference is the ideal time to come together, collaborate, and explore the latest trends shaping the insurance industry.
We come to BIBA every year to discuss our offerings and solutions. Our Professional Risks, Delegated Property, Financial Lines, Trade Credit teams and our colleagues, Cyber & Professional Lines Group from across the pond, will be on stand B30 to discuss general trading, a particular risk, or a new idea you’re looking to develop—we’ll be all ears.
Amongst our attendees, industry veteran Stuart Heath, Head of Distribution – International and Head of Delegated Property, makes a return to the conference. In his expanded role, as Head of Distribution – International, Stuart will work closely with TMHCC International’s business units to enhance their offering to clients, brokers, and reinsurance partners, through greater knowledge and resource sharing across the network. He will continue to strengthen our relationships with brokers and distribution partners, and there is no better place to do that than at BIBA.
