Clearing rights for Film & TV: Ros Breese to feature on expert panel

Tuesday, November 17, 2020
With the Film and TV industry experiencing difficult times following the closure of movie theatres, premieres and even production sets in 2020, the increasing prevalence of streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime has become clearer than ever this year.

As VoD subscriptions continue to soar, the addition of new services such as Disney + and HBO Max over the last 12 months only serves to remind us that streaming is here to stay. With this in mind, working with such platforms and becoming aware of the legal issues they face is becoming crucial for the sustainable development of many audio-visual companies. This subject will be the key focus of EPI’s upcoming hybrid workshop ‘Clearing Rights for Film and TV’ which is taking place on 19th – 21st November in Berlin and online.

The workshop will offer a broad summary of rights clearance strategies, along with the essential legal knowledge to tackle these issues head-on. Industry experts from across the US and Europe, including our own Media, Film & TV Underwriting Manager – Professional Risks, Ros Breese, will share their key insights and state-of-the-art case studies. Attending this workshop also offers a number of exclusive benefits such as:
