Following our appearance earlier this month at Aon’s Credit Solutions Conference (CSC), which ran from 7th – 11th December, we are pleased to say that our first virtual conference was a resounding success. Several key members from our Credit team including Underwriting Director - Credit Ray Massey, and three of our Senior Commercial Underwriters Shane West, Nick Dando, and Dan Forrester not only thoroughly enjoyed CSC 2020 but spoke of their appetite to attend more virtual events in the future – an increasingly likely possibility considering the current state of the events industry.
The virtual stand proved a handy insight in to TMHCC’s policy offering and generated interesting debate. Topics were centred around the current pandemic and the expert panel of speakers offered a diverse viewpoint which made for interesting debates, including much discussion around Brexit and the challenges it may bring in the future. The event also featured some informative pieces within the finance markets, and we know from experience how inter-twined they are with our Credit Insurance products.
Initial online responses, alongside our own, concludes that the event was a great success. It may even be that the new format of a virtual event can open doors to a wider audience, and is something that we may see lots more of in the future.
