Notice of Fraudulent Job Offers

We have become aware that unauthorized individuals may have posed as Tokio Marine HCC (“TMHCC”) employees by using our employees’ names, voices, and images, made contact about job opportunities, and extended job offers on behalf of TMHCC. These job postings and offers are not authorized by TMHCC, and TMHCC is not responsible for such fraudulent offers.  However, we take these actions seriously and would recommend that all applicants be aware of certain signs that a job offer from TMHCC may be fraudulent.

To start, all vacancies at TMHCC are posted to the Company’s career site. Offers for jobs that are not on the site are not legitimate. All communications related to employment with TMHCC will be sent from an email address with a tmhcc.com email domain or through an authorized third party. TMHCC will never communicate with applicants using a Hotmail, Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, or even a tmhcccareers.com email domain. TMHCC does not make offers of employment before completing a thorough hiring process which would include in-person and/or virtual interviews with multiple people. Interviews will not be conducted through email. Fraudulent job offers often ask for financial or personal information. TMHCC will never ask applicants to provide credit card or bank account information, transfer or deposit money, or make any type of personal financial investment to gain employment with TMHCC. Personal information, such as social security numbers or dates of birth, should not be provided prior to meeting with an TMHCC representative in person or virtually, and being certain of the legitimacy of the opportunity.

If you suspect that any communication related to your application may be fraudulent, please immediately contact TMHCC at [email protected]. Applicants are also encouraged to report any such fraudulent activity to proper law enforcement authorities.
