Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI), a member of the Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) group of companies based in Houston, Texas, has announced two senior appointments to its Claims Performance team.
Stephanie Kovatchev joined on 1 July as Head of Claims Performance from The Hartford, where she served as Claims Operations Manager. Kovatchev brings over 15 years of insurance industry experience across claims operations, having previously held positions at Tokio Marine Kiln, Chubb, and AXA France. She will report directly to Gavin Bridges, Chief Claims Officer at TMHCCI.
Louise Sawallich joined on 20 July as Delegated Claims Authority (DCA) & Outsource Delivery Manager from MS Amlin, where she was Delegated Authority Claims Manager. Sawallich brings almost three decades of insurance industry experience, with deep delegated authority claims expertise, having previously held roles at QBE, Churchill Insurance and Cunningham Lindsey. She will report to Kovatchev in her new role.
The appointments reflect TMHCCI’s commitment to continuous improvement across its claims function as the company invests in specialist expertise, smarter use of data and innovative processes to ensure brokers and insureds continue to receive the highest standard of service.
