  • Limits of Liability of up to $20,000,000 available
  • Cover available on a single production basis or as an annual blanket cover
  • Worldwide Jurisdiction as standard
  • Annual Blanket including 36 month extended reporting period for Additional Insureds with an option to extend to 48 months
  • Extensions for Merchandising and Soundtrack
  • Maximum policy period of 5 years for single productions on a claims made basis Up to 5 years extended reporting period for occurrence policies
  • Extensions for Fair Use and Fair Dealing
  • Unintentional failure to give credit or attribution of authorship
  • Unintentional breach of a license to use a third party’s trademarked or copyrighted material


Claims examples

  • Defamation: A documentary alleges that an individual was involved in criminal activity. The individual claims the allegations are false and sues for defamation
  • Copyright Infringement: A TV programme uses copyrighted music, photographs, or footage without obtaining the necessary rights.
